The latest crime statistics released by the FBI show Cape Coral remains one of Florida’s safest cities.

For cities with more than 150,000 residents, Cape Coral was ranked overall the second safest.

The city was ranked as the number one safest city for violent crime, meaning that people are least likely to fall victim to a crime of violence in Cape Coral than any other large city in the state. The Cape was also the second safest for property crime.
